Playing together, Face-to-face.

We like to play games that bring us closer together with the people around us- games that challenge us to think creatively, strategically and socially. Sometimes this means a brightly-packaged board game you buy in a store, but many of these games can be played with just a handful of dice and a few friends. Some of our favorite games require nothing more than two people and a sense of playfulness!

No Sonic, Sudoku, or Softball.

Not bored games:

  1. Don't take place strictly through a screen.
  2. Are played with others- no solo games!
  3. Can be played face to face across a table; you *could* play out in the park on a sunny day, but these games work on also work on rainy days at home, late nights at a bar, or snowed into an antarctic research station.

About the site

Not Bored Games is itself sort of a game, coded and designed by me, Patrick Ewing. The goal of this game is to help people discover new games, especially ones that facilitate learning, fun, and interpersonal connectivity. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
